In the latest Chocolate Scorecard 2025, HALBA has secured second place among the world’s leading chocolate manufacturers and remains the most sustainable chocolate producer in Switzerland. The Scorecard, published annually by over 30 NGOs under the leadership of Be Slavery Free, evaluates companies based on criteria such as transparency, traceability, living income, measures against child labour, climate and forest protection, agroforestry and pesticide use.
HALBA stood out particularly in the areas of agroforestry and living income. This result is a clear confirmation of our long-standing commitment to sustainability in cocoa-producing countries.
The Chocolate Scorecard provides transparency about the social and environmental conditions under which chocolate is produced. This gives consumers guidance on which chocolate has been produced under responsible conditions.
